To speak of a contract is to say that the relations between the activity of scientific research and the rest of society must be founded on a clear basis defining, in the broadest sense of the term, the rights, expectations, services and obligations of each of the parties.
To speak of a new contract means on the one hand that there is already a previous contract and on the other hand that it no longer corresponds to tomorrow’s needs.
