The workshops of the Forum are launched!
Under the sign of the Ox, peaceful and hard-working, everyone hopes that the countries of the world will be harnessed with the task they share from now on: overcoming the crisis. How will they do it? We don’t know yet but, for sure, the answer can no longer come from the Western powerful countries only. The emergent countries, China in particular, will have their word to say. Let us hope that the societies themselves, in Europe and China, will bring their contribution because every effort counts to take up the economic challenges, environmental and social, current and to come, with which we all are confronted.
As part of the effort, the China-Europa Forum counts on the dialogue, in the long-term, between the actors of change who wish to consolidate their points of agreement, to remove misunderstandings and to circumvent the obstacles with a co-operation more than ever necessary.
This is the spirit guiding the preparation of the workshops for the third biennial meetings in the wake of the three European meetings organized at the end of 2008 in London, Barcelona and Saarbrücken. In parallel, in China, the collection of themes and commitments to hold the workshops in July has run at full power. These intense moments of proposals passed, time has come for the definition of the workshops themes, the choice of the locations, the participants, and for the calls to contributions as well intellectual as material (and financial…).
At distance work in the workshops in preparation of the physical meetings, mostly in mainland China, with for common horizon the plenary sessions, in Hong Kong on July 22nd to 24th.
The third biennial one of the Forum China-Europa is launched! Good luck to everyone!
